About Friends of Jesus
Our Commitment: Being a Light in Glassboro
Our mission is to be an authentic beacon of light in the Glassboro community. We fulfill this through tangible acts of Christian service, rooted in Jesus’ two greatest commandments: to love God and to love our neighbor.
Our Motivation: Friendship through Faith
Jesus said we are His friends if we do what He commands. While none of us are perfect, we strive to abide by His teachings in a way that is visible, humble, and leads others toward the hope found in Him.
Our Motto: "Overcoming Evil with Good"
Taken from Romans 12:21, our motto expresses our desire to see the reduction of hatred, abuse, mischief, theft, vandalism, violence, and deception as a direct result of our efforts in the community and on campus.

Campus Ministry
The Mission
Acting as a beacon of light at Rowan University by introducing students to the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
Our Method
We meet students on the Rowan University campus. Our peaceful, loving outreach includes:
Scripture Distribution: Handing out Gospel of John portions.
Gospel Tracts: We utilize Moments With The Book resources, specifically the 60-Second Gospel tract, as a clear script to explain the gift of eternal life.
Bible Provision: We provide free Bibles to students.

Proven friendship through action, standing in solidarity with the Jewish community and the nation of Israel.

We believe friendship is proven through action. Our association fosters deep-rooted allyship with the Jewish community through consistent, tangible support:
Student Support: Providing annual Hanukkah gifts for Rowan Chabad students.
Joy for Children: Donating toys to Chai Lifeline for children facing illness.
Honoring Protectors: Providing meals for the Rowan Police
Officers securing Chabad events.
Community Relief
Practical Love for Our Neighbors
Providing a practical safety net and tangible aid for all Glassboro neighbors in their time of need.

Samaritan Center Partnership:
Donating Blessing Bags filled with essential hygiene items to their distribution network.Direct Resident Aid: Providing food baskets and emergency gift cards to Glassboro families facing immediate hardship.
Special Requests: Responding to unique needs, such as sponsoring local youth for summer camp and transportation.

We obey Jesus by following His second greatest commandment, to love our neighbor as ourself.

We obey Jesus by doing good to those who persecute us and by praying for them.
